Xen with OSX

From OptionC

Work is being done by a group of people (primarily at IBM) to have Xen work on the PPC chipset (currently) being used by Apple. The current status is unknown.

The basis of OS X is Darwin (derived initially from FreeBSD). FreeBSD has been ported to work under Xen. The Darwin FAQ (http://developer.apple.com/darwin/projects/darwin/faq.html) says "...we try to keep Darwin as compatible as possible with FreeBSD (our BSD reference platform)." This makes it easy to believe that running Darwin, and (hence) OS X should not be difficult once Xen is working on PPC.

In the meantime, it is possible to run OS X under Pear PC (http://pearpc.sourceforge.net) or (somewhat) under QEMU (http://fabrice.bellard.free.fr/qemu) within a Xen VM.
