Option-C, Ltd., (Option-C, Ltd. (http://www.option-c.com))is a Research, Development and Consulting company, located near Chicago, Illinois.

We have extensive experience in both computer and business consulting, with particular expertise in full-cycle project management and development. Our recent R&D work has been focused on improving the processes of the development of consumer electronic goods through better use of software. In particular, we have been focusing on improving business processes through the use of virtualization tools such as Xen and VMWare.

In particular we have been investigating the following:

  • Application Portability
  • Paravirtualization
  • Consumer uses of commercial-grade technologies
